How long does a rock chip repair take?
About 30 minutes for a single chip, start to finish. You can carry on with whatever you were doing while we work, and you can drive the vehicle immediately afterwards. Multiple chips take a little longer but it is still the same visit.
Do you really come to me?
Yes, 100% of our work is mobile. We have no shop for you to drive to. Home, workplace, apartment complex, job site, church parking lot, wherever the vehicle is going to be sitting for half an hour. Just tell us where to find it.
What does a rock chip repair cost?
Chip repair is one of the least expensive things you can do for a vehicle, and we keep our out-of-pocket rates deliberately affordable — it is why the large majority of our customers just pay us directly rather than involving insurance at all. If you would rather claim it, many Texas comprehensive policies do cover chip repair, and we bill your insurer directly. But for most people it simply is not worth opening a claim for.
Can a crack be repaired, or does it need replacing?
It depends on length, location, and whether it is in the driver’s line of sight. Some cracks repair well; some genuinely need replacement, and no honest technician can promise otherwise before seeing it. Text us a photo and we will tell you which one yours is before we drive out.
